Don't Touch That!

Privacy Policy

Don't Touch That! (Android and iOS) · Last updated: 9 October 2026

Short version: Don't Touch That! collects no personal data. Nothing you do in the game leaves your device. There are no ads, no analytics, no accounts and no tracking.

1. Who is responsible

Don't Touch That! is developed and published by Medin Turkes (Certi Development), Düsseldorf, Germany.

2. Data stored on your device

The game saves your progress locally on your device only: scores, levels reached, lives, streaks, statistics, achievements, unlocked themes, Daily Challenge results and settings (sound, music, haptics, theme, accessibility options).

This data is never transmitted to us or to any third party. It is deleted when you uninstall the game or choose Settings → Reset progress. Depending on your device settings, your operating system may include app data in your own device backups (Google or iCloud backup). That is controlled by you and your platform provider, not by us.

3. Motion sensor

One type of level ("Don't shake the soda") reads your device's motion sensor (accelerometer) while that level is running, only to detect whether the phone is being shaken. The readings are processed instantly on the device and are neither stored nor transmitted. On iPhone you are asked for permission first. Declining does not prevent you from playing.

4. What the game does not do

5. App stores

You download the game through Google Play or the Apple App Store. These platforms process data (for example your account and download information) under their own privacy policies, which we have no control over: Google Privacy Policy and Apple Privacy Policy. If you opted in to share diagnostics with developers in your device settings, the platform may provide us with anonymous, aggregated crash and usage statistics.

6. This website

This website is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub Inc., USA). When you visit it, GitHub processes technical data such as your IP address in server logs to deliver the page and keep it secure. See the GitHub Privacy Statement. The website uses no cookies, no analytics and no external fonts or scripts. If you email us, we use your address and message only to answer you and delete them when no longer needed.

7. Children

The game is suitable for all ages and is not directed specifically at children. Because it collects no personal data at all, it also collects none from children.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (in North Rhine-Westphalia: the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit NRW). Since the game does not send us any personal data, there is normally nothing we hold about you. Your game data stays under your control on your device. For questions, contact us at the address above.

9. Changes

If a future version changes how data is handled, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date above will change.
